The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5) are the most widely read and known sections in the Old Testament. They are a powerful expression of how God's people are to live in response to the grace and rescue of God. To obey them is to display the uniqueness of God's people and their gratitude for His rescue. 

If God's people, in the spirit of gratitude and love, lived out these Ten Commandments, the uniqueness of their faith would be on display for all the world to see.
