St. Athanasius said that the book of Psalms is like a hidden treasure. "Within it are represented and portrayed in all their great variety the movements of the human soul." In the Psalms, we see anger, hatred, joy, bitterness, awe, shame, fear, gratitude, and exaltation. Almost every emotion that we feel can be found in the Psalms. Join us this summer, as we explore these "Movements of the Soul" by looking each week at an emotion that is pictured in the Psalms.
