Pastor and speaker Allan Edwards will be sharing his personal story of struggle with same sex attraction (SSA) and how his faith played a vital role in how he wrestled with this very sensitive issue.

This is a two day event with specific focus each day.

Friday, April 8th from 7-9pm will cover SSA and the church. This event will be open to all who are in ministry leadership. Pastors, small group leaders, men’s & women’s ministry leaders, youth pastors, biblical counselors, bible study facilitators, or anyone in leadership spheres are welcome to hear how the church can become better equipped to walk with people struggling with SSA either personally or in their circle of care. Allan will be sharing his story and how he interacts with this very important issue as a pastor. Dinner will be provided.

Saturday, April 9th from 8:30am-noon Allan will be addressing the Christian community as a whole. He will discuss what a biblical sexual ethic means and why laying this foundation is so important. He will also explore how to respond when you encounter a non-biblical sexual ethic in your home and in the world. Saturday will also include how Christians can interact well when someone they know or love embraces the LGBT lifestyle. We will end with a Q & A time with Allan and Life Counseling Center counselors. Continental breakfast and snacks provided.
