The Lenten season begins on Ash Wednesday (February 10) and carries us all the way to Good Friday (March 25) and Easter Sunday (March 27). For centuries, Christians have seen it as a season of repentance, of recognizing and turning from sin. After all, it was humanity's sin that took Christ all the way to the cross and to the grave. But, sin did not have the last word. Christ was raised on the third day.
This Lenten season, we are going to look at characters from the book of Judges. This book chronicles a dark time in the history of God's people. Yet, just when the book seems the darkest, a rescuer comes to deliver. Join as we journey through these stories and end with the ultimate deliverer, Jesus Christ.
